The legendary house of knowledge, the Alexandrian Library, serves as our inspiration as we strive for excellence in serving our community. The Alexandrian Library held tremendous cultural importance, and it served many of the great scholars of its time. Although the library was destroyed around 300 A.D., the Alexandrian legacy continues at the University Libraries. Special donors who grace our great Libraries with an annual donation of $1,000 or more become part of the Alexandrian Circle, an exclusive group dedicated to advancing the Libraries’ highest priorities and advising the Dean in planning decisions.
